We have changed our name!
We’re thrilled to share a big moment in our journey, and this video says it all. After thoughtful conversations over the past few years, we’re officially changing our name from Turning Point Center of Addison County to Peer Recovery Center of Addison County.
This change feels right for where we are today and where we’re headed. It reflects:
· Our commitment to making it crystal clear who we are and what we do — a peer‑led, recovery‑focused community hub.
· The desire to distinguish ourselves from organizations with similar names but very different missions.
· All the new energy, programs, and partnerships growing within our center.
· Our new permanent home on Court Street, which marks a fresh chapter for our community.
· A shift toward language that centers peer support, empowerment, and connection, which is at the heart of our work.
· A name that better represents the inclusive, welcoming, and collaborative environment we strive to build every day.
While our name is changing, our mission remains the same: to support recovery, strengthen community, and create a place where everyone feels seen, valued, and connected.
We’re excited to step into this next chapter with you. Thank you for being part of our story and our future.
