The Turning Point Center of Addison County is growing, and we’re looking for a compassionate, motivated Assistant Director to join our leadership team. If you’re passionate about supporting people impacted by substance use and strengthening recovery in our community, this is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference.
As Assistant Director, you’ll work closely with our Executive Director to support daily operations, expand programs, build partnerships, and help ensure the long-term sustainability of the Center. This role blends leadership, community engagement, fundraising support, and organizational development — perfect for someone who thrives in a mission-driven environment.
What You’ll Do: • Support development and evaluation of recovery-focused programs • Build partnerships with local organizations and community stakeholders • Assist with grant writing, donor relations, and fundraising efforts • Help coordinate events, communications, and outreach • Provide leadership and support to staff and volunteers • Contribute to strategic planning and organizational growth
What We’re Looking For: • Experience in nonprofit leadership, human services, or program development • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills • Knowledge of recovery support services or peer-based approaches (preferred) • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and all paths to recovery
