New Recovery-Friendly Yoga Workshops
New yoga workshops starting in June and running through August.
All yoga skill levels are welcome, whether you're a hardcore yogi or just trying it out! Bring your own mat or use one of ours. Yoga can be a powerful tool in substance use disorder recovery, offering both physical and mental benefits that support healing.
Through controlled breathing, meditation, and gentle movement, yoga helps individuals manage stress, anxiety, and cravings, promoting a sense of inner calm and stability. Regular practice strengthens the mind-body connection, fostering self-awareness and emotional resilience—essential qualities for navigating recovery.
Additionally, yoga encourages discipline and routine, which can be vital in establishing a new, healthier lifestyle.
Many find that yoga provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space for reflection, allowing individuals to reconnect with themselves in a positive way. Whether practiced alone or in a group setting, yoga serves as a grounding force, helping individuals cultivate strength, balance, and peace on their recovery journey.
